CDL-A Driver — Monday-Friday, $24/hr, 4am Start

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a Monday through Friday schedule starting at 4am in Houston, TX 77073. You'll run local and long-distance delivery routes, representing the company as a key point of contact with customers.

Pay

• $24/hr

• Access to a portion of your earned wages before payday, with a pay card option available if you don't have a bank account

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 4am start time

What you'll do

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer (and possibly other commercial vehicles) safely

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Load and unload cargo, making sure it's properly secured, with lifting up to 30 pounds

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Keep your logs and paperwork up to date

• Flag any vehicle issues to management right away

• Represent the company well with strong customer service at each stop

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving record that meets the company's fleet safety standards

• Comfortable operating different types of commercial vehicles

• Solid grasp of safety rules, DOT regulations and ELD compliance

• Good communication and time-management abilities

• Able to pass a background check and drug screening, and hold a current medical card

• 2+ years of driving experience and familiarity with GPS/routing software preferred
