CDL-A Driver in Lancaster, TX — Home Daily, No-Touch, $28–$32/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A driver based in Lancaster, TX to run drop-and-hook freight and be home every day. Loads can be regional, with a weekly mileage target of 2,700 miles per driver.

Schedule

• Weekday shifts run Monday through Thursday, starting at 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 or 8:00 am, and last 10 hours.

• Weekend shifts run Friday through Sunday, starting at 3:00, 4:00 or 5:00 pm, and last 12 hours.

• Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your shift. The truck stays parked at the corporate yard, but you'll need to be at the pickup point by shift start.

Pay

• $28.00 an hour on weekday shifts and $32.00 an hour on weekend shifts.

• Paid weekly.

What you'll haul

• Drop-and-hook freight, moving product from Distribution Centers to vendor destinations.

• Mileage can vary since some runs are regional, with a weekly goal of 2,700 miles per driver.

Equipment

• 2025 Freightliner Cascadia sleeper.

• 10-speed autoshift transmission.

• No APU, but idling is allowed.

Requirements

• Follow all DOT and OSHA rules and applicable state laws while running your routes.

• Complete full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your tractor-trailer.

• Secure freight properly using straps and devices so it arrives undamaged.

• Keep accurate daily logs, trip reports and other required paperwork.

• Report any product damage or delivery problems to your Transportation Supervisor or Manager right away.

• Keep your truck fueled, clean and inspection-ready, and take care of your assigned tools and equipment.

• Stay professional with other drivers on the road and complete other reasonable tasks as management asks.
