CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $34.00/hr, 1st Shift

Our company is hiring a First Shift CDL-A driver for LTL freight pickups and deliveries around Westbrook, ME. This is a full-time, home-daily role running Monday through Friday with an 8:00 AM / 9:00 AM start, and it pays a newly increased starting rate.

Pay

• $34.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours

• Quarterly safety bonus for drivers

• Top pay rate guaranteed once you reach 4 years with the company

Schedule and home time

• Monday through Friday, first shift starting around 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM

• You're home every day

What you'll haul

• LTL freight picked up and delivered throughout Maine and New Hampshire

• Mix of commercial and residential stops

• You'll stay in touch with dispatch about route changes, stops and any delays affecting the schedule

• All driving must follow our company's safety rules along with OSHA, DOT and other applicable laws

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (the company will help you get the endorsement if you don't already have it)

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Valid DOT medical card and ability to pass a DOT drug test and physical

• Clean driving and safety history

• Must pass a county-level background check as part of onboarding

• Able to lift, push or pull objects weighing more than 75 lbs
