CDL-A Driver — Conroe to Midland, TX Route

Our company, part of Superior Energy Services, needs a full-time CDL-A driver for its Texas operation. You'll run tractor-trailer loads mainly between Conroe and Midland, with occasional trips into Oklahoma, hauling equipment that supports drilling operations.

What you'll haul

• Routes run primarily between Conroe and Midland, sometimes extending into Oklahoma

• You'll be driving a manual-transmission tractor-trailer

Requirements

• CDL Class A license is required

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience driving tractor-trailers

• Preferred: high school diploma or GED

• Preferred: forklift experience

• Relevant training combined with experience may also be considered

What you'll do

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep DOT electronic logs and inspection records up to date

• Make sure loads are properly secured before hitting the road

• Keep up with required truck maintenance and servicing

• Help load and unload equipment as needed

• Follow company and customer safety, health, and environmental standards

• Take on other tasks assigned by your supervisor
