CDL-A Driver — $30–$35/hr, OR/WA Routes

Our company in Portland, OR is looking for a Class A driver for drayage and freight hauling, mainly running Oregon and Washington, with occasional trips into Idaho. You'll handle different cargo types, including refrigerated loads and general freight, on scheduled and OTR routes.

Pay

• $30.00 to $35.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 40.0 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight of all kinds, including refrigerated goods

• Routes mostly in Oregon and Washington, sometimes Idaho

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailers safely, following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Plan routes with GPS tools while watching for traffic and road hazards

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip for safety or maintenance concerns

• Keep accurate logs of hours, deliveries, inspections and cargo paperwork

• Get freight to its destination on time and treat customers well during pickup and drop-off

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience

• Clean driving record

• TWIC card preferred, or willingness to obtain one

• Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations

• Comfortable using GPS and planning efficient routes

• Solid grasp of loading, unloading and cargo handling practices
