CDL-A Driver — $30.00–$38.00 per Hour, Monday to Friday

Our company Inc. in Alden, NY is hiring a CDL-A driver for its Trucking Division. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday job paying $30.00 to $38.00 per hour, and you report to the Trucking Manager.

• Work location is on the road

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering loads

• Load and unload the trailer, on your own or with help, which means regular lifting, pulling and pushing

• Secure freight with straps or other methods when needed

• Inspect your vehicle for defects and unsafe conditions, as the law and company policy require

• Drive in all conditions within federal hours-of-service limits, followed by the required off-duty time

• Keep your driver's logs and any other records that state and federal rules call for

• Follow company policies and all federal, state and local rules for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license

• A passing DOT physical and DOT drug screen

• 3 years of driving experience is preferred

• A tanker endorsement is not required, but it is a plus

• You work well on a team, bring a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and take safety seriously
