CDL-A Driveaway Truck Driver — $2,000–$2,200/Week, Hotels Nightly

Our company, based in Buda, TX, needs CDL-A drivers to move new Freightliner trucks straight from the factory to dealers and fleet buyers. There's no trailer to pull and no freight to load or unload. Instead of bunking in a sleeper, you get a hotel room every night, and the company flies you back to base once a run wraps up.

Pay

• $2,000-$2,200 a week

• Add your family to the medical plan for $31/week

Home time

• Runs typically keep you out 2-3 weeks before you head back

• No sleeper cab required - you're in a hotel each night of the trip

What you'll haul

• You won't be hauling freight at all - the job is driveaway work, getting new trucks to dealerships and fleet customers

• Background in flatbed, step deck, heavy haul, open deck, auto hauling, or standard OTR driving all translate well here

Requirements

• Valid CDL A

• A minimum of 1 year verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers within the last 3 years

• Comfortable operating a manual transmission

• Willing and able to be away from home for stretches of 2-3 weeks

• Doubles/Triples endorsement is a plus, though not mandatory
