Our company, based in Fontana, CA, is hiring an experienced semi truck driver to pull double trailers on regional and long-haul runs. You'll be trusted to move freight safely and on schedule while representing a company that says it puts its drivers first.
Pay
- $325 a day
What you'll haul
- Double trailers pulled behind a semi truck on regional or long-haul routes
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Three or more years of verifiable driving experience preferred, with doubles experience a plus
- A clean driving record and motor vehicle report
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Solid grasp of Hours of Service rules and electronic logging
- Capable of lifting as much as 75 pounds
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT rules
- Pick up and deliver freight accurately and on time
- Keep detailed, accurate electronic logs
- Stay in contact with dispatch about progress, delays, or problems
- Check that loads are secured and within weight limits
- Follow all applicable traffic and transportation laws
