CDL-A Dirt/Water Truck Driver — $30–$34/hr

Our company in Reno, NV is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul dirt and water loads on local and regional routes. You'll run tractor-trailers, flatbeds and tankers, loading and unloading material while keeping everything compliant and on schedule.

Pay

• $30.00 to $34.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Dirt, water and related bulk materials

• Equipment includes tractor-trailers, flatbeds and tanker trucks

Duties

• Operate trucks safely under DOT, FMCSA and hazmat rules

• Load and unload material at pickup and delivery points

• Plan routes with GPS to stay on schedule and save fuel

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on manual transmission rigs, covering fluids, brakes, tires and safety gear

• Keep delivery logs and compliance paperwork current

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about timing or delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A, hazmat endorsement preferred

• Background in commercial driving, freight hauling or delivery work

• Comfortable with manual handling of cargo and truck loading/unloading

• Able to use GPS for route planning

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat safety rules

• Experience with manual transmission trucks is a plus
