CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — Up to $85K+ First Year, $7,500 Sign-On

Our company is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver based out of 9950 South Reinhart Road, Oak Creek, 53154 (Milwaukee, WI area). You'll run local, OTR, shuttle, and drive-and-drop routes, delivering food and food-related products to customers.

Pay and bonus

• First-year drivers can earn up to $85K+ per year after training

• $7,500 sign-on bonus, paid after you finish training (not available if you've worked for a Performance Food Group company in the past 6 months)

Schedule

• Choose day shift (starting before 5 am) or night shift (starting after 9 pm)

What you'll haul

You'll drive a tractor trailer or straight truck, delivering and unloading food and food-related products on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT rules the whole way.

What the job involves

• Doing pre- and post-trip safety inspections on your tractor and trailer, and reporting any issues

• Checking that freight is loaded and secured properly, and matching it against customer invoices

• Hooking up preloaded trailers and driving your assigned delivery route

• Unloading orders at customer locations, checking for damage, and getting delivery signatures

• Collecting payment (cash or check) when required

• Loading customer returns and securing the trailer before heading back

• Keeping accurate, legible paperwork and logging your hours of service per DOT and company rules

• Keeping your tractor, dock area, and trailer clean and organized

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience

• Valid CDL-A, minimum age 21

• Clean MVR for the past 3 years

• Must pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and road test

• Current or obtainable DOT Health Card

• Able to hand-lift and use equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates to move product cases weighing roughly 10 to 90 pounds, depending on location
