CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — School Food Distribution Routes

Our company, a major food distributor serving K-12 schools, needs a CDL-A driver to support its transportation team. You'll run deliveries and pickups between warehouses and school sites, handling touch freight along the way.

What you'll do

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely on assigned routes

• Load and unload cargo yourself (touch freight)

• Check your vehicle for mechanical or safety problems before and after each trip

• Keep to delivery schedules while following safe driving practices

• Log your hours properly using an ELD

• Handle basic truck upkeep and read maps to find locations

• Let dispatch know right away about any problems or incidents

• Take on other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A, with at least 1 year of Class A driving experience

• DOT medical certificate

• Clean 10-year driving record (pulled within the last 30 days) with no more than 2 points

• Able to pass a road test or equivalent

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass a background check through DOJ and other screening

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Physically able to handle the job, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, reaching, and standing or sitting as needed

• Prior truck driving experience or related background
