About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A driver based in York, PA 17401 to run food and foodservice product deliveries on a mix of local, regional and overnight lanes, with some drive-and-drop work included.
Pay
- $1,500 per week guaranteed while you train
- Once training's done, drivers typically bring home around $100,000 a year
- Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 if you've got a year or more hauling foodservice deliveries
Home time
- Overnight runs, Monday through Saturday
- Two hotel stays built into the week
What you'll haul
- Food and related foodservice items, moved in tractor trailers or straight trucks
- A combination of local, long-haul, shuttle and overnight routes
Requirements
- Current CDL-A
- Minimum of 12 months behind the wheel commercially
- Age 21 or up
- No major violations on your driving record over the last 3 years
- Must clear a drug screen and road test once an offer is made
- Current DOT medical card, or ability to obtain one
- GED or high school diploma
- Capable of lifting and moving cases in the 10-90 lb range by hand, using a two-wheeler or lift gate as needed
