CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — $83,200/Year Target Pay

Drive a tractor-trailer for Frito-Lay (our company) out of San Antonio, TX, hauling snack brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to stores and warehouses in the area. Shifts can start and end at any time, any day of the week, including holidays and weekends.

Pay

• Target annual pay of $83,200

Schedule

• Operates Sunday through Saturday

• Shifts can begin or end at any time

• You may work up to 14 hours a day, with up to 11 hours of actual driving

• Expect to sit for up to 5 hours during a shift

What you'll haul

• Chips, dips, and other snack products moving between manufacturing plants, large grocery stores, rural storage sites, and other distribution points

What you'll do

• Drive the tractor-trailer in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Load and unload freight by hand, using pallet equipment or a two-wheeler, sometimes lifting product overhead

• Get delivery signatures, handle product returns, and manage delivery paperwork and invoices

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log your activity on an electronic device such as a tablet or onboard computer

• Stay in contact with dispatch, sales drivers, and customers throughout your shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• 100,000+ accident-free miles driven, or more than 2,500 accident-free hours

• Available to work holidays and weekends

• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Able to stand, walk, and handle product for extended stretches, with or without reasonable accommodation
