CDL-A Delivery Driver — Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver to deliver food and snack products to customers on local and regional routes. Freight is almost entirely no-touch, and the schedule is set with early morning starts.

Pay and bonus

• Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, paid out over one year

• Paid per diem when an overnight stay is required

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts

• Typical departure time between 3am and 5am

• Up to one overnight per week depending on business needs, with lodging provided at approved hotels

What you'll haul

• Food and food-related products delivered to customers on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, OTR, shuttle and overnight runs

• Freight is almost entirely no-touch

What the job involves

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your tractor and trailer and report any safety or mechanical issues

• Follow DOT rules and company safety policies, including accurate daily hours-of-service logs

• Check loaded freight against invoices and paperwork, hook up preloaded trailers, and drive your assigned delivery schedule

• Unload orders at customer locations, check for damage, get signatures, and collect payment when needed

• Bring back damaged goods or customer returns and complete the related paperwork

• Keep your tractor, trailer and loading area clean and secure, and handle other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

• Valid CDL-A and any required state licensing or certification

• At least 6-12 months of commercial driving experience (role varies by location/program)

• Minimum age 21

• Clean motor vehicle record for the past 3 years

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a road test

• Valid DOT health card, or able to obtain one

• Able to hand-lift freight and use equipment such as a two-wheeler and lift gate; products typically weigh 60 to 90 pounds depending on location
