About this job
H.T. Hackney Co. in Indianapolis, IN needs a CDL-A driver for multi-stop customer deliveries. You'll be home every day, working 4 to 5 days a week with plenty of overtime potential.
Pay
- Starting at $26.96 per hour
- Time and a half after 40 hours
- Quarterly safety bonus and a monthly incentive available
Schedule
- 4 to 5 days a week, typically around 45 hours if you work at least 4 days
- Extra overtime available if you want it
- Day shift starts between 3 and 6 AM; end time depends on your load and stops
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- Multi-stop deliveries of customer orders
- You'll unload the truck yourself and handle invoices at each stop
- Good customer service skills are part of the job
Requirements
- CDL-A preferred
- Able to pass a DOT physical
- Able to lift 80 lbs
- Willing to cross state lines when needed
- Basic math skills and strong communication
- Clean driving record
- Must live in or near Indianapolis
- About 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
