Our company in Loveland, CO is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to bring food products to local customers. Most drivers on this route are home every day, and the role comes with strong starting pay plus a retention bonus for those who qualify.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Shifts begin sometime between 8PM and 2AM
- Expect 10-12 hours per shift, totaling 50-55 hours a week
- About 92% of drivers in this position get home daily
Pay
- Starting rate of $38.11 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours
- Base rate can range from $36.50 to $38.11 depending on experience, skills and location
- Eligible drivers can earn a $10,000 retention bonus
What you'll haul
- You'll deliver food and beverage products to customers on your route, driving safely to arrive on time
- Unload using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing items where the customer wants them
- Confirm each delivery is correct and get the customer's signature
- Collect payment from customers when that's part of the stop
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck
- Represent the company well by delivering solid customer service
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with the right endorsements and DOT qualifications
- At least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months specifically in food or beverage delivery
- Comfortable lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20 to 80+ lbs of product repeatedly throughout your shift
- Able to work outside in all kinds of weather with frequent stops, 10 or more per shift
- Need to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, communicate with officials, and fill out reports
- Knowing how to drive manual transmission is a plus, and may be needed in certain locations
- You'll need to register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a federal requirement for all CDL holders, through the official Clearinghouse website
