CDL-A Delivery Driver — Guaranteed 40-Hr Week, Buford GA

Our company, a Southeast protein distributor since 1992, is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver based in Buford, GA 30519. You'll run assigned routes delivering fresh, frozen and refrigerated products to customers, working full-time with set weekly hours.

Pay and schedule

• Competitive salary with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

• Quarterly performance, safety and compliance bonuses of up to $900.

What you'll haul

• Fresh, frozen and refrigerated protein products delivered along set customer routes.

• You'll handle order verification, delivery paperwork, payment collection and delivery confirmations.

What the job involves

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle.

• Keep routes on schedule and make on-time deliveries.

• Log driving hours, inspections and route activity through ELD systems.

• Follow DOT rules and food safety requirements.

• Flag any safety concerns, maintenance needs, incidents or customer feedback to the company.

• Drive safely and work to avoid accidents.

Requirements

• CDL-A license with at least 6 months of driving experience.

• Able to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.

• Willing to wear composite or steel-toe shoes.

• Clean driving record: no serious tickets or accidents in the past 3 years, and no DWI/DUI in the past 10 years.

• Current DOT medical card or physical exam; the company can help sponsor one if you don't already have it, subject to terms and conditions.

• English communication skills required.

• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass E-Verify.
