About this job
Our company in Atlanta, GA is hiring a CDL-A driver for extra board work, with the chance to move into a dedicated route over time. You'll run local delivery routes, unloading and handing off product directly to customers.
What you'll do
- Operate a commercial truck safely and professionally while representing the company well to customers
- Deliver and unload product at local customer stops
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and equipment
- Use powered equipment like electric pallet jacks and hand trucks to move freight
- Handle other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Age 21 or older
- At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience, or equivalent military driving experience
- Able to regularly lift 25 to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 170 pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
