About this job
Our company in Northfield, MN is looking for a full-time CDL-A delivery driver to haul and deliver food products to customers across the region. This route-based role pays well and comes with a solid benefits package plus a sign-on bonus.
Pay
- $85,000 to $90,000 per year
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
What you'll haul
- Tractor trailer deliveries of meat, produce, frozen items and other food products
- You'll hand-unload freight using a two-wheel cart on metal ramps at each stop
- Loads on the cart can weigh up to 500 lbs, and you'll regularly lift 50 lbs, with occasional lifts over 60 lbs
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least one year of driving experience preferred
- Comfortable with software used for pre-trip inspections and invoice checks
- Able to keep to delivery schedules and work in all kinds of weather
- Good communication skills for dealing directly with customers
- Must follow DOT safety rules at all times
