CDL-A Delivery Driver — $40.50–$43.50/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Livermore, CA to bring food products to customers safely and professionally. This is a touch-freight role where you'll handle unloading yourself, so expect hands-on physical work each shift.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate between $40.50 and $43.50, based on experience, skills and location

• Overtime pay may apply

Schedule

• 4-5 day workweeks, depending on business needs

• Dispatch windows fall between 9pm and 5am

What you'll haul

• Food and beverage products delivered on set routes to customers

• You'll unload everything yourself using a hand truck, ramp, or by hand, and place items in the correct storage spots

• You'll also confirm deliveries, collect signatures, and manage payments or collections where needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 21 years old

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food/beverage delivery

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, communicate with officials, and complete paperwork

• Manual transmission skills preferred and may be required at some locations

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a federal requirement for all CDL holders

Physical demands

• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of loads from 20 to over 80 lbs

• Frequent stops during each run (10 or more), including driving in bad weather

• Work in temperatures as low as 0 degrees at times

• Ongoing bending, reaching, climbing, standing, and similar movement throughout your shift
