CDL-A Delivery Driver — $35.41/hr Plus Component Pay

Our company is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers to bring food products to its foodservice customers. Pay starts at $35.41 an hour plus component pay, and there is a sign-on bonus.

Pay

• Base starts at $35.41 an hour; component pay is added on top and depends on stops, miles and cases.

• Drivers average $45.00 an hour once component pay is included.

• $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule and location

• Monday to Friday, starting between 3am and 5am and running until the route is finished.

• The schedule lists Boca Raton, FL, while the job is posted for Key West, FL.

What you'll do

• Drive highway and city routes, backing into tight docks.

• Unload every delivery yourself by two-wheeler, ramp or hand (100% touch freight).

• Confirm deliveries with customers and get signatures.

• Inspect your truck before and after each trip.

• Take payments or collections where needed, and handle other duties management assigns.

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push and pull 20 to 80+ lbs.

• Make 10 or more stops per shift, including in bad weather.

• Work in multi-temperature conditions, down to 0 degrees.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with needed endorsements and DOT qualifications.

• At least 21 years old.

• 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food or beverage delivery.

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

• Able to speak, read and write English well enough to follow road signs and complete records.

• Manual transmission skills preferred and possibly required at some locations.
