CDL-A Delivery Driver — $32.50/hr

Our company, a major Coca-Cola bottler and distributor, is looking for a CDL-A driver to deliver beverage products to retail customers in the Elko, NV area.

Pay

• $32.50/hour, paid bi-weekly, with an optional pay-on-demand choice

• Overtime available

• Base pay may vary depending on your location, experience and skills; a bonus structure may apply depending on the role

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, exact shift to be determined (likely starting around 4:00 AM and ending around 12:30 PM)

• You may need to work some weekends and holidays, and stay flexible as routes and delivery demands shift

What you'll haul

• You'll drive a commercial delivery vehicle along set routes to bring beverages to stores on schedule, adjusting for traffic and weather

• Loading, unloading and careful handling of beverage products to avoid damage, plus restocking backrooms when a store asks

• Picking up and returning pallets, shells and other assigned equipment at each stop

• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to catch and report any maintenance or safety concerns

• Logging deliveries and inventory using electronic or paper systems, and staying in touch with dispatch and your supervisor on progress or delays

• Keeping your truck clean inside and out, and building good working relationships with store staff and managers

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Valid CDL-A with an interstate endorsement

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• Minimum age 21

• A driving record that meets Swire's internal standards

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with customers and teammates

• Must complete required training sessions and attend assigned meetings
