About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver to run tractor-trailer deliveries out of Concord, NC. You'll earn $27.00 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 depending on your experience.
Pay
- $27.00 per hour
- Sign-on bonus up to $10,000, amount based on experience
What you'll do
- Check your tractor-trailer before and after each trip and file DOT inspection reports
- Verify the bill of lading and store keys when making off-hour deliveries
- Operate the tractor-trailer safely to each stop, following commercial driving rules
- Keep your driver log current (manual or Peoplenet) per DOT rules, noting receipts, temperatures and any exceptions
- Unload freight and bring it into the customer's location
Requirements
- Class A CDL, valid
- At least 21 years old
- A minimum of one year or 50,000 miles of verifiable tractor-trailer driving
- Must pass our company's MVR and risk rating standards
- Able to read, write and understand English well enough for safety and work instructions
- Background check and drug screening required
