CDL-A Delivery Driver — $22-$30/hr Plus $2,500 Bonus

Our company in Abilene, TX is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to bring food products to customers and provide hands-on service along the route. Eligible new hires get a $2,500 retention bonus.

Pay

• Starts at $22.00 per hour during training

• Base rate ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour once trained, with component pay potentially bringing it to $25-30 per hour

• Overtime pay applies as applicable

• Actual rate depends on your experience, skills, location and other factors

What you'll do

• Drive your truck safely to customer locations and hit scheduled delivery windows

• Unload product using a two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand, placing items where the customer wants them

• Confirm each delivery is correct and get the required signature

• Collect payment from customers when that's part of the stop

• Represent the company well and keep customer service front and center

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on your equipment

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push and pull product weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout your shift

• Work outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

Requirements

• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse (required by the DOT for all CDL holders; visit clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/register if you haven't yet)

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence with the right endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be needed depending on location

• English proficiency to communicate, read road signage, respond to official requests and complete paperwork
