CDL-A Delivery Driver — $2,000–$2,500/week

Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver to deliver foodservice products to customers in Flower Mound, TX and the surrounding routes. You'll handle route deliveries, paperwork and customer service while keeping safety and accuracy front and center.

Pay

• $2,000.00 to $2,500.00 per week

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial truck on assigned delivery routes, following all federal, state and local trucking rules

• Load, unload and move products according to company procedure

• Check orders, invoices and paperwork against each delivery for accuracy

• Get customer signatures and keep proof-of-delivery records

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and flag any mechanical or safety issues

• Keep logs, inspection reports and delivery records up to date, following DOT and hours-of-service rules

• Keep your truck clean and in good shape

• Stay in contact with dispatch, warehouse staff, management and customers

• Flag shortages, damaged goods or delivery problems right away

• Follow food-handling and safety procedures for the products you carry

• Help load and unload when needed

• Show up on time and handle your route reliably and professionally

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current medical certification and driving qualifications

• Clean driving record that meets DOT standards

• Understanding of commercial vehicle safety rules and transportation regulations

• Able to read and follow delivery paperwork, invoices and route instructions

• Good communication skills with customers and coworkers

• Reliable attendance and strong time management

• Comfortable working independently to finish routes

• Able to lift, carry, push and pull products as the job requires

• Willing to follow all company and safety policies

Preferred, but not required: prior commercial driving experience, background in foodservice, wholesale or food and beverage delivery, experience with customer deliveries and proof-of-delivery paperwork, and familiarity with warehouse loading practices.
