About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver out of Rogers, MN to run local, OTR, shuttle, and drive-and-drop routes delivering food and food-related products to customers.
Schedule
- Dispatch starts early in the morning from the Rogers location at 13400 Commerce Blvd.
- You'll work 5 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with one weekday off.
Pay
- While training, you'll make an effective hourly rate of $34 as you learn the job.
- Once you're fully trained, drivers average $100,000 a year under the component pay program.
- A $12,000 sign-on bonus is available for new drivers (terms apply).
What you'll haul
- You'll drive a tractor trailer or straight truck, delivering and unloading food and food-related products on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, OTR, shuttle, and overnight runs.
- Duties include pre- and post-trip inspections, loading dock work, verifying freight counts against invoices, unloading at customer sites, handling damaged goods and returns, collecting payment when required, and keeping accurate delivery paperwork and DOT logs.
- You'll be lifting and moving product by hand or with a two-wheeler and lift gate; cases generally weigh 10-35 pounds, with some up to roughly 60-90 pounds depending on location.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- High school diploma, GED, or state-approved equivalent
- Valid CDL-A, plus any state licensing or certification requirements that apply
- Minimum age 21
- Clean MVR for the last 3 years
- Must pass a post-offer drug screen, criminal background check, and road test
- Valid DOT Health Card, or able to obtain one
