About this job
This dedicated Northeast account offers steady freight, a consistent weekly schedule, and a planner assigned to your route. Both new and experienced CDL-A drivers are welcome.
Pay
- Starts at $0.80 per mile, counting both loaded and empty miles
- Weekly earnings typically land around $1,500, with a stated range of $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week
- Extra pay for stops ($15 each) and for touch freight ($80)
- Your first 3 months after going solo come with guaranteed pay
- Eligible for Swift's driver performance bonus program
Home time
- Back home every week for your 34-hour reset
- Weekends and major holidays off, with optional weekend shift scheduling
- Choice of day or night shifts
What you'll haul
- Freight for dedicated customers across the Northeast
- Mix of live loads, live unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook work
- Some touch freight involved, including loading and unloading
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Meets DOT and company hiring standards
- Trainees as well as experienced drivers can apply
