About this job
Our company Group needs a CDL-A driver for a dedicated round-trip dry van lane between Tell City, IN and Cullman, AL. You'll run the same route each trip, with a mix of live loading and drop-and-hook that will eventually shift to full drop-and-hook only.
Pay
- $350 flat per day worked
- Weekly pay typically runs $1,750-$2,000
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight
- Dedicated lane: Tell City, IN to Cullman, AL and back empty, about 303 miles each way (606 round trip)
- Same pickup and delivery locations every trip
Responsibilities
- Safely run the dedicated route and meet appointment times
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Handle drop-and-hook and live load/unload tasks
- Keep accurate electronic logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch on progress and delays
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of dry van experience in the past 3 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record meeting company and insurance standards
