CDL-A Dedicated Regional Reefer Driver — Entry Level Welcome

This is a full-time dedicated regional reefer job based out of Cocoa, FL, open to both newly licensed CDL-A drivers and experienced ones. You run refrigerated freight to retail and distribution locations across Central Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, mostly on night shifts.

Pay

• Pay is built from a flat rate per load, $10 per stop and $0.11 per mile.

• Drivers average roughly $1,200–$1,300 a week on about 1,600–2,400 miles; this is approximate and can vary.

• Performance bonuses are available.

• Trainees are paid on a different scale, which is explained during recruitment.

Home time and schedule

• Some routes may get you home every other day, but this is not guaranteed.

• Expect an overnight layover each week and a 34-hour restart weekly.

• Where routes allow, you may get 10-hour breaks at home or two days home midweek.

• Shifts usually begin between 3 PM and 8 PM, and weekends and holidays are part of the job.

What you'll do

• Haul temperature-controlled freight on regional runs and unload live at delivery.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Keep accurate driving records and follow DOT and company safety rules.

• Work in a slip-seat setup, sharing trucks between drivers.

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL; no prior professional experience is needed for eligible trainees.

• You must live within 75 miles of Cocoa, FL (ZIP 32926).

• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays and overnight routes.

• Compliance with DOT and FMCSA requirements; no extra endorsements needed.
