CDL-A Dedicated Regional Reefer Driver — Entry-Level Welcome

This dedicated regional reefer job runs out of Cocoa, FL, hauling refrigerated freight through Central Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Both brand-new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are welcome to apply.

Pay

• You're paid $0.11 per mile plus $10 per stop, covering roughly 1,600–2,400 miles a week

• That typically works out to about $1,200–$1,300 a week, though actual earnings can vary

• Trainee pay is set separately and will be explained during hiring

• Bonus pay is available based on performance

Home time

• Some routes may get you home every other day, though this isn't guaranteed

• Expect weekly overnight layovers depending on your route

• 10-hour at-home breaks when the schedule allows, plus a weekly 34-hour reset

• Some weeks may include two days off at home midweek

• Night shifts generally start between 3 PM and 8 PM, and weekend/holiday work is part of the job

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated (reefer) freight delivered to retail and distribution centers

• Live unloading is required at delivery stops

• You'll run in a slip-seat setup rather than a dedicated assigned truck

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• No prior professional driving experience needed for qualifying trainees

• Must reside within 75 miles of Cocoa, FL

• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including overnight routes

• Comfortable with slip-seat operations

• Must satisfy DOT and FMCSA standards
