About this job
Our company is looking for a Dedicated Long Haul OTR Driver based out of Cloquet, MN. You'll run consistent routes on a dedicated schedule, hauling food products to support the company's supply chain, with most weekends off.
Pay
- All miles paid, starting at $0.61 to $0.65 per mile
Home time
- Dedicated OTR route with most weekends at home
What you'll do
- Operate a tractor-trailer under state and federal transportation rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and submit weekly DVIR reports
- Keep accurate DOT hours of service logs, electronic or manual
- Plan your time to make scheduled customer delivery appointments
- Protect load integrity and handle paperwork such as signed invoices and bills of lading
- Maintain good relationships with customers and the community
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record: no moving violations or DOT-reportable accidents in the past three years
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Comfortable using GPS and routing tools, including XRS
- Strong communication, time management and attention to detail for trip planning and paperwork
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to sit for long stretches, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and move around within the truck
- 2 years of experience preferred but not required
