CDL-A Dedicated Local Driver — Home Daily, Paid Training

This dedicated account out of Opelika gets you home every night with no-touch freight, and it's open to brand-new CDL holders through paid training.

Pay

• 6-day schedule: $1,300 to $1,550 weekly gross

• 5-day schedule: $800 to $1,200 weekly gross

• Stop pay of $10 to $15 per stop, or $40 for loads under 51 miles

• Performance bonus available

• New drivers earn $650 a week while training

You're back home every single night on this account.

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight, so you won't be unloading by hand

• Routes run out of the Opelika distribution center to stores in Birmingham, Atlanta, South Georgia and Southern Tennessee

• Shifts run both day and night, and holiday work is expected

• Expect some waiting time at store stops and on backhauls

• Trucks are slip-seated

Requirements

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old

• Live within 40 miles of Opelika

• New drivers need 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school; experienced drivers need 6 months of OTR work in the past year

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No DUI or DWI in the last 5 to 10 years

• Must pass hair and urine drug screening
