CDL-A Dedicated Local Driver — $1,711+/Week, $5,000 Sign-On

Run a dedicated local account out of Reno for our company, hauling preloaded trailers to stores across CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID. You will unload at customer sites, mostly with an electric pallet jack and occasionally a lift gate.

Pay

• First-year average earnings around $89K

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

• Weekly average of $1,711+, combining mileage pay of $0.68 to $0.72 and stop pay of $38 per stop (about 9 stops a week on average)

Schedule and home time

• Tuesday through Saturday, starting between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM

• Layovers happen about 3 times a week on average, though not guaranteed

• You may occasionally be allowed to take the truck home if you have secure parking and get approval first

What you'll haul

• Preloaded trailers picked up in Reno, delivered to stores in CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID

• Winter routes may cross Donner Pass or use an alternate route; you must be willing to chain up when needed

Requirements

• Live within 80 miles of zip code 89508 and have your own way to get to and from the facility

• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months, 6 months in the last 12 months, and 12 months in the last 5 years

• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last 3 years (PSP warnings count)

• No more than 3 at-fault minor incidents or accidents in the last 3 years

• No more than 1 highway accident in the past 12 months

• No major preventable accident in the last 3 years costing more than $25,000

• No failed DOT drug test in the last 5 years; if you completed the SAP program, you need one full year of safe driving since

• If terminated for an accident, 12 months of safe driving since is required; if terminated for a non-accident safety issue, 6 months is required

• Felonies and misdemeanors are reviewed by the safety team; no felony drug charges within the last 7 years
