CDL-A Dedicated Flex Driver — Guaranteed $1,300/Week

This CDL-A role puts you on rotating dedicated accounts across Texas and Oklahoma instead of locking you into one repetitive route. Depending on the week, you could be running local routes, heading into regional lanes, switching yard trailers, or helping out at a service center.

Pay

• You're guaranteed at least $1,300 for any week you're available the full time, with pay ranging up to $1,600.00 per week depending on the account

• Some assignments pay hourly, others by the mile, depending on what you're covering

• Depending on the account, you may also collect stop pay, detention pay, breakdown pay, layover pay, loading/unloading pay, or per diem

Home time

Your schedule shifts with whatever account you're assigned to that week.

• Some weeks you're home every day

• Other weeks you might run regional between Texas and Oklahoma

• Most assignments still leave you home for the bulk of the weekend

• Hours and mileage vary account to account, and you may be asked to do yard-switching or service-center work as needed

What you'll haul

You'll rotate through different dedicated customer accounts in Texas and Oklahoma, adapting to each one's freight and operating needs. Day to day that can mean driving local or regional runs, loading or unloading freight yourself, hooking and unhooking trailers, opening and securing trailer doors, running pre-trip inspections, checking freight counts, handling fuel paperwork, and pitching in on other company operations when coverage is tight.

Physical demands

• Lifting up to 80 lbs while loading or unloading

• Moving freight that takes up to 54 lbs of force

• Operating trailer doors needing up to 46 lbs of force

• Hooking and unhooking trailers requiring up to 90 lbs of force

Requirements

• Class A CDL, valid

• At least 21 years old

• One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years

• Live within 75 miles of the hiring location

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required; TWIC and Doubles/Triples endorsements preferred

• You'll need to secure a passport within 120 days of hire (application can start in your first 30 days)

• Doubles endorsement and TWIC application must be started within 30 days of hire and finished within 90 days - eligible costs are reimbursed with receipts

• Willingness to get TSA certified for airport deliveries, with qualifying costs reimbursed

• Comfortable operating a yard tractor when needed, and able to adapt to different customers, freight types, and schedules

Driving record standards

• No reckless driving, DUI convictions, or license suspensions/revocations in the past 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past 12 months

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years

Note: this is mainly a local position, but you may occasionally be asked to run into Oklahoma, which pays at a higher regional rate.
