CDL-A Dedicated Dry Van Driver — Home Weekends

This is a full-time dedicated regional dry van driving job based out of Chesapeake and Richmond, Virginia. New CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers can both apply. You are home on weekends, with early morning deliveries during the week.

Pay

• Mileage pay is $0.90 per mile, and drivers typically run about 1,000 miles a week.

• Average weekly earnings come out to roughly $1,300.

• Extras include $20 per stop, $40 for loads under 51 miles and $240 for unloading.

• A $100 weekly bonus is paid for being available five days and driving without accidents, incidents or hours-of-service violations.

• Actual earnings depend on your routes, miles, unloading and bonuses. Trainee pay may differ.

Home time and schedule

• Home every weekend for your weekly reset.

• Day and night driving, with early morning delivery windows.

• Some Saturday and holiday deliveries.

What you'll haul

• Dedicated dry van freight on consistent routes.

• Floor-loaded and roller-assisted deliveries, plus live unloading.

• No extra endorsements needed.

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL.

• You live within 70 miles of Chesapeake or Richmond, VA.

• You can work days and nights and some weekends and holidays.

• You are willing to unload freight by hand.

• You meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
