CDL-A Dedicated Dry Van Driver — Home Weekends

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for dedicated regional dry van work out of Chesapeake and Richmond, VA. New graduates and experienced drivers are both welcome, and you are home for the weekend every week.

Pay

• $0.90 per mile, with roughly 1,000 miles a week

• Weekly earnings average about $1,300, depending on route, miles, unloading and bonuses

• $100 weekly safety and availability bonus. You need to be available five days and avoid accidents, incidents and hours-of-service violations

• $20 per stop

• $40 for short hauls under 51 miles

• $240 unload pay

• Trainee pay may be different

Home time and schedule

• Home every weekend for your weekly reset

• Dedicated regional dry van routes with early morning deliveries

• Driving on both day and night shifts

• Some Saturday and holiday work

What you'll haul

• Dedicated dry van freight, floor-loaded and roller-assisted

• Live unloading of the freight you are assigned

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, DOT rule compliance and accurate delivery records

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Living within 70 miles of Chesapeake or Richmond, VA

• Able to work days and nights, plus occasional weekends and holidays

• Comfortable unloading freight by hand

• Meeting DOT and FMCSA requirements

• No extra endorsements needed
