CDL-A Cryogenic Tanker Driver — Average $145,000/Year

Our company is hiring a Class A bulk tanker driver based in La Porte, TX to deliver industrial gases to customer sites by tractor-trailer. You will haul cryogenic products and follow strict safety and DOT rules. Some deliveries may be to government sites with extra background checks.

Pay

• The company says its OTR drivers average $145k a year.

• Direct deposit every week.

Schedule and home time

• 30/5 schedule with consecutive days off.

• Hiring locations: La Porte, TX; Gonzalez, LA; Poca, WV.

• You will run a sleeper truck. During new hire training and your 34-hour break, the company puts you up in a hotel.

What you'll do

• Inspect the rig before and after each trip and report your findings.

• Drop and hook trailers when needed.

• Hook up and disconnect transfer hoses and handle cryogenic tanks and fittings safely.

• Watch pressure and temperature while unloading.

• Keep hazmat papers and shipping records correct under DOT rules.

• Flag repair and maintenance needs on time and work well with customers.

What you'll haul

• Liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and hydrogen tube trailers.

Requirements

• CDL Class A.

• 3 years in a tractor-trailer or 2 years on tankers.

• Prior tanker and cryogenic experience.

• Able to get a TWIC card and to enter Canada when asked.

• High school diploma or GED.
