CDL-A Container Truck Driver — $1,500–$1,800/week

Haul export containers between a warehouse, rail yards, and local shipping yards in the Atlanta, GA area, including iti Conley GA and CMC Hiram, Georgia. This is a no-touch freight sleeper truck position with mainly weekday work.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week

• Hazmat/tanker endorsement holders can see weekly pay increases, since this account mostly moves hazardous freight

Schedule

• Primarily Monday through Friday

• Weekend runs available if you want extra income

What you'll haul

• Export container loads picked up from the warehouse and delivered to rail yards

• Empty containers moved to and from iti Conley GA and CMC Hiram, Georgia

• Freight is no-touch

Requirements

• CDL A required

• At least 1 year of container hauling experience

• At least 2 years of driving experience

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; willingness to get them quickly is acceptable, since hazardous freight is a big part of this account

• Day shift availability

• Willing to travel 50%

• Comfortable handling pre-trip and post-trip checks (tires, coolant, oil) and keeping records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel receipts

• Able to communicate well with dispatch, customers, and teammates, and stay patient and reliable on the road

• Applicants with a criminal record are welcome to apply

• Confidential security clearance is a plus
