About this job
Our company is looking for recent CDL-A school graduates around St. Augustine, Florida for a paid mentor program. You spend your first 4–6 weeks on the road with a seasoned trainer, then move into your own truck as a solo driver.
Pay
- Training weeks are paid
- Once you finish the program, expect $1,600–$1,800 a week
- Pay is deposited directly each week
What the training covers
- Safe driving and planning your trips
- Handling pickups and deliveries
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Staying in touch with dispatch
- What a typical day looks like for an over-the-road driver
After training
- You get your own truck and run solo on routes across the United States
- Full benefits start once training is complete
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL from an accredited CDL school
- A clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to meet Department of Transportation qualification rules
- A willingness to learn, a safety-first mindset and a dependable work ethic
- No prior driving experience needed
