About this job
Our company in Spring Hill, Florida is hiring recent Class A CDL graduates for a paid mentor program. You spend the first weeks learning on the road with an experienced trainer, then move into your own truck as a solo over-the-road driver.
Pay
- Training is paid and lasts four to six weeks.
- Once you finish training, you may earn $1,600–$1,800 per week.
- Pay arrives by weekly direct deposit.
How the training works
You ride with a seasoned driver who helps you build skills and confidence beyond what CDL school covers. Topics include:
- Safe driving and planning your trips
- Handling pickups and deliveries
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Staying in touch with dispatch
- What an over-the-road driver does day to day
When you complete the program, you get your own truck and start driving solo.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, earned through an accredited CDL school
- A clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to meet Department of Transportation qualification rules
- A positive, dependable, safety-minded attitude and a willingness to learn
- No prior professional driving experience needed
