About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A tanker driver to run local chemical hauls out of Channelview, TX. You'll be home every day on a set schedule, hauling for dedicated customers in well-maintained equipment.
Pay
- Ability to earn $90,000 plus annually
- Weekly average of $1,730
- Paid hourly, with overtime after 40 hours
- $3,000 sign-on bonus
- Quarterly bonus
- Strong referral incentive for bringing on other drivers
Schedule
- Local routes with daily home time
- Night shift option available
- Works a 5/2 or 5/3 rotation
- Shifts run 4:00 to 4:00
What you'll haul
- Chemicals loaded, hauled and delivered in a tractor-trailer tanker
- Dedicated customer deliveries
- Fleet equipment averages 2 years old
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- TWIC card
- At least 1 year of recent chemical tanker experience in a tractor-trailer
- Comfortable driving a 10-speed manual
- Minimum age 23
- Must pass a DOT physical
- No more than 2 moving violations on your MVR in the past 3 years
- No major accidents in the past 3 years
- No DUI or DWI in the past 5 years
