CDL-A/B Roll-Off Garbage Driver — $25-$27/hr + $2500 Sign-On

Our company is hiring a garbage and roll-off truck driver to run routes in the Baker, MT area. You'll collect solid waste and handle roll-off containers for communities across Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Pay

• $25.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience

• $2500 sign-on bonus

• Overtime is paid

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays

• Roughly 50-55 hours per week

What you'll do

• Drive a garbage truck on assigned routes to pick up solid waste (prior waste industry experience is a plus, not required)

• Load and unload roll-off containers using cable equipment and/or a hook truck

• Work hydraulic hand controls to lift and dump refuse at designated disposal sites

• Follow the routes and customer stops set by dispatch

• Check fluids, tires, and safety equipment, and complete pre- and post-trip inspections

• Treat customers with courtesy and take on other related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B license with air brakes, no restrictions

• Able to read, write, and communicate in English

• Working knowledge of truck systems for inspections

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years

• At least 21 years old

• Comfortable with demanding physical work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling items over 50 pounds

• Able to work outdoors in all weather, including wet or humid conditions, with some exposure to fumes, vibration, and moving machinery parts
