RV Transport Driver — Regional & Nationwide Travel

Our company needs a Transport Driver to move RVs, motorhomes and trailers between dealerships, vendors, and pickup points, with occasional customer deliveries. Trips can be regional or nationwide and sometimes involve overnight stays or flying out to retrieve a unit.

What you'll haul

• Motorhomes you drive directly

• Travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and other approved RVs towed behind a vehicle

• You'll only operate equipment that matches your license and the company's approval

Responsibilities

• Move inventory between locations and occasionally deliver to customers

• Fly or drive to pick-up points as needed

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on tires, lights, brakes, hitches and safety chains

• Keep accurate logs of hours, mileage, fuel and trip status, and report issues or incidents right away

• Stay in touch with the Transport Manager on routes and timing

Requirements

• Valid driver's license matching the vehicles and tow combinations you're assigned

• A driving record that satisfies DOT, insurance and company standards

• Class A CDL preferred; required for any assignment that calls for one, along with needed endorsements

• Comfortable with a changing schedule, including evenings, weekends and overnight runs

• Experience hauling trucks, fifth wheels or Class A motorhomes is a plus, as is a background in transport, logistics or dealership work

• CDL-based assignments require DOT drug and alcohol testing and an FMCSA Clearinghouse check, plus medical certification after a conditional job offer

Pay

Pay follows the company's current Transport Driver payroll plan, which may combine mileage or flat per-trip pay with hourly pay for certain duties, plus reimbursed travel costs. The exact plan is reviewed with you before you're hired. Hours and trip volume aren't guaranteed and depend on business needs.
