CDL-A/B Pump Truck Driver/Operator — $27.00–$29.00/hr

Our company in Ivyland, PA needs a dependable Pump Technician to run a service truck and vacuum equipment, pumping and disposing of non-hazardous waste from septic systems at residential and commercial sites. You'll work independently, start early, and handle each job safely and professionally.

Pay

• Estimated base pay of $27.00 - $29.00 hourly at the time of posting

• Final rate depends on location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

• Steady, year-round work

Schedule

• Day shift, starting early between 6:00 and 7:00 AM

What you'll do

• Operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on fluids, tires, and supplies

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and explain system upkeep to clients

• Spot and report broken parts or hazards, and suggest service options

• Fill out and turn in paperwork on time and accurately

• Handle emergency or trouble calls when they come up

• Follow DOT rules and all company safety procedures

• Represent the company professionally while working solo in the field

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL

• Tanker endorsement preferred, or willing to get one

• Able to drive manual transmission with no restrictions

• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Good communication and customer service abilities

• Willing to work outdoors in any weather

• Basic computer skills (email, internet)

• Must clear a DOT drug test, physical exam, and road test

• Comfortable working in a drug-free workplace
