CDL-A/B Propane Delivery Driver — Home Every Night, $25–$28/hr

ThompsonGas is hiring a Propane Delivery Driver in Saint Joseph, MO to run bobtail delivery trucks and fill tanks for residential, commercial and industrial customers. This is a full-time, local route position and you're home every night.

Pay

• $25.00-$28.00 per hour based on experience

• Quarterly safety bonus potential of $500 per quarter

• Annual bonus potential up to $1,000 (bonuses subject to terms)

• Option for Daily Pay

Home time

You'll run a set local route each day and return home every night. Be ready for on-call rotations, including some evenings and weekends.

What you'll do

• Deliver propane to customers along an assigned route, flagging any changes or problems to your manager

• Log deliveries, meter readings and tank levels on a tablet

• Check your truck each morning and report any maintenance, equipment or supply needs

• Inspect, repaint and repair company-owned tanks as needed

• Handle customer questions professionally and respond to emergency delivery calls when they come up

• Follow DOT and hazmat transport rules, run prefill safety checks, wear the required protective gear, and speak up right away about any safety issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• Clean driving record and able to pass a DOT physical

• Basic mechanical skills for routine vehicle checks

• Strong customer service approach

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather

• Willing to take on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Prior propane experience is a plus, not mandatory
