CDL-A/B OTR Independent Contractor Driver — $0.90–$1.35/mi

Our company is looking for independent contractor drivers for OTR single-driver runs. You'll pick your own loads while staying active, and you're paid per mile plus a fuel surcharge.

Pay

• Paid per mile, plus a fuel surcharge based on truck type, load miles and the weekly national fuel average

• Total pay including fuel surcharge runs $0.90 - $1.35 per mile depending on the load (wage range listed as $0.72 - $1.35 per mile)

• Most drivers spend no more than $1.45/gal out of pocket on fuel

• Same day pay available once your paperwork and logs are submitted and verified

Bonus programs

Several bonus opportunities are available if you qualify:

• Referral bonus, including a summer referral bonus of up to $600 per contracted driver you refer

• Clean inspection bonus

• Mileage bonus

• Load bonus

• Safety bonus

What you'll haul

This is an OTR position - not local, not regional. You choose which loads to run, but you need to complete 3-5 loads per month to stay active.

Requirements

• Class A or Class B CDL

• At least 1 full year of verifiable OTR CMV driving experience within the last 3 years

• A reasonably clean driving record and solid work history

• Comfortable with DOT hours-of-service rules, logging daily through the MOTIVE app (no paper logs accepted)

• On-time arrival for every pickup and delivery

• Weekly check-ins with your dispatcher, even between loads

• All required paperwork submitted on time

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

This is an independent contractor role - not a company driver position and not an owner-operator setup.
