CDL-A/B Local Delivery Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL driver to deliver construction materials to job sites around Houston, TX. You will drive company trucks (up to 26 feet), unload and stage materials at customer locations, and get home every day.

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks safely under DOT rules, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Deliver materials to job sites on schedule and check deliveries against packing slips

• Unload, protect and stage materials as directed by customers

• Operate a forklift and other equipment once trained

• Keep the warehouse area clean and organized, and follow OSHA safety rules

• Wear required safety gear and use proper lifting methods

• Attend company meetings and training sessions as required

Physical demands

• Frequent hand and arm use for equipment operation

• Long hours driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or similar equipment

• Occasional lifting up to 80 lbs and climbing ladders with loads up to 50 lbs

• Pushing and pulling loaded carts over different surfaces, sometimes with a teammate

• Learning to operate a forklift and tools such as dollies and carts

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL

• At least 1 year of steady commercial driving experience

• Comfortable working as part of a team

Pay

Full-time role with competitive base pay; exact rate depends on experience, qualifications and the local market.

Home time

Local routes with daily home time.
