About this job
Our company, a leading North American distributor for professional contractors, is looking for a CDL A or B driver to deliver construction supplies to customer jobsites in Columbus, GA.
What you'll do
- Deliver products to customer jobsites and coordinate drop-offs
- Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments when needed
- Keep up with DOT rules on vehicle upkeep and drive safely at all times
- Make sure manifests and paperwork are correct
- Help warehouse staff pull and get orders ready to ship
- Take on other tasks as assigned
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend shifts. Paid holidays are included.
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL valid in your state of residence, with endorsements matching the equipment you'll run (for example, a hazmat endorsement if you'll haul placarded materials)
- At least one year of CDL driving experience
Preferred
- Two years of commercial driving experience meeting Federal Motor Carrier Safety and DOT standards
- Forklift certification
- Spanish language skills
