CDL-A/B Bulk Fuel Delivery Driver — Elko, NV

Our company delivers propane (LPG) to homes, businesses and industrial customers, and this role is based out of the Spring Creek yard in Elko, NV. You'll drive a bulk truck to deliver fuel and help install new tanks, with customer service as a core part of the job.

What you'll do

• Deliver propane by operating the bulk truck, getting in and out of the cab safely as often as 30+ times a day

• Haul delivery hoses out to tanks as far as 150 feet away, sometimes across snow or uneven terrain

• Put on and take off heavy-duty tire chains (about 60 lbs) during winter conditions

• Use the MOGO system in the truck and work with the Dispatch Coordinator on route planning

• Help install new company tanks, including working on the crane truck deck to set up and remove rigging, and operating the crane itself (training provided if needed)

• Drain fuel from tanks owned by customers but supplied by competitors, and return those tanks to the competitor's yard when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma

• Class A or Class B license with air brake endorsement

• TDG and HAZMAT certification

• Bulk handling, bottle fill and PTI training (Borealis trains you on these)

• PERC training (provided after you're hired)

• Current NV LP Gas Board Certificate of Competency, or the ability to get one

• Background in the LPG or fuel industry helpful; familiarity with Alberta's oil and gas sector is a plus

• Comfortable with computers and office software

• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills; able to multitask and work well with a team

• Self-motivated with close attention to detail

• Physically able to safely perform the duties described above

Schedule

This is an hourly role that may include occasional after-hours shifts, with hours shifting based on season and business needs. You should expect to travel long distances and be away from home for multiple days at times.
