Box Truck Driver — $600–$1,500/wk

Our company in Atlanta, GA needs a box truck driver for local and over-the-road routes. You'll handle freight, keep deliveries on schedule, and follow all safety rules on the road.

What you'll do

• Drive a box truck on local and OTR routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Load and unload freight by hand, securing it properly for transport

• Use GPS to plan efficient routes and hit delivery windows

• Handle refrigerated, hazmat, tanker or flatbed loads as needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks covering load security, fluids, brakes, tires and safety gear

• Keep delivery paperwork, logs and reports accurate and up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to coordinate drops and handle any issues

Requirements

• Background in commercial driving, delivery or freight transport

• Comfortable loading and unloading cargo by hand

• Familiar with refrigerated trailers and hazmat/dangerous goods rules

• Able to plan routes using GPS navigation

• Confident operating a manual transmission truck

• Solid grasp of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat compliance

• Safety-focused approach to driving, loading and vehicle upkeep

Pay

$600.00 to $1,500.00 per week.
